Design and Construction

The T Type strainer features a straight-line body configuration with a vertically oriented or side-mounted strainer basket, allowing contaminants to settle away from the main flow path. This design minimises turbulence and pressure drop while maintaining consistent filtration performance across a wide range of operating conditions. T Type strainer is designed keeping client specifications and requirements in mind where T1, T2, and T3 are carefully considered for flanged fluid outlets determining specific flow configurations.

The removable strainer basket or screen assembly is easily accessible through a bolted cover, enabling quick inspection, cleaning, or replacement without disturbing the pipeline alignment. Heavy-duty body construction ensures structural integrity under high pressure and temperature service, while precision-machined sealing surfaces provide reliable, leak- tight operation throughout the service life of the strainer.

In addition to standard designs, we also manufacture fabricated jacketed strainer variants for applications requiring thermal insulation, heating, or cooling of the process fluid. Fabricated variants of these strainers can also be supplied with PTFE, Rubber, or Glass Flakes Epoxy (GFE) lining for enhanced corrosion resistance in aggressive process fluids.
